iCatching”, born Tiffany Catching, is a female rapper that has a unique flow and striking looks that commands the stage as StarCulture’s main MC.
She’s performed at various festivals such as Coachella, Lovevolution, Lightning in a Bottle and various showcases. She had the #1 song on the BBC show Friction in the UK for 2 weeks in April 2009 and was also a semi-finalist in the Scion Vocalist competition. She has also worked with members of Nappy Roots and has recorded the song “KY” with them. Currently she has 3 music videos out including “Music”, “The Beat” and “Change”.
iCatching started writing songs with music producer David Starfire and have written catchy hip-hop/electro/world/funk that defy genres, but yet fits in many. “iCatching’s” rapping against hard hitting hip hop beats with slamming bass lines, quirky musical sounds and pop sensibilities is the right formula for killer tunes. The song “The Beat” will be featured on David Starfire’s album “Bollyhood Bass” released January 2010 on Six Degrees Records.
Currently she performs with StarCulture as well as her own shows and is working on a full length album with David Starfire. Also performing along with her is Toya and Julia as her additional singers/dancers for a super high energy show. Watch out world cause there is no limit with this talented rapper!
